Language/Reading Subsidy - Mississauga

LDAPR staff tutors delivering Reading Rocks, a data-driven, outcomes-tested reading intervention program designed by Brock University’s Dr. John McNamara, Reading Rocks is specially designed for children with learning challenges. Reading Rocks program is designed for students in Grades 1 to 8 who are performing a minimum of one year behind in the area of literacy due to a diagnosed, identified, or suspected reading disability (dyslexia). Your child will work one-on-one with a LDAPR-trained tutor to improve their literacy skills such as phonics principles, sight word knowledge, and reading fluency. Reading Rocks sessions are taught using a combination of direct instruction and engaging literacy games and activities.
